Thank you, as always, Baba! One of the best parts about this is getting to share new authors and reads with you, and seeing many of them become your favourites too :)
Equally as excited for Jeff’s new book. And the War & Peace readalong sounds really cool! Wish I had heard of it earlier.
But the main reason I am here to comment is that Virginia Woolf/literary festival piece. Oh. My. God. Anu, your writing is simply GORGEOUS. Lyrical, prosaic…I found myself absolutely spellbound reading that piece, from your description of seeing Cunningham at the festival, to recalling your first viewing of the film, all the way to finding a copy of the book and weaving a beautiful thread between past and present with its characters, the film’s characters, and Woolf’s demise.
I would read an entire book-length collection of your nonfiction writing like this. Consider this the very first pre-order of a book you haven’t written yet🥰
Enjoyable read as always, Anu. Congratulations for the Brunch article.
Thank you, Baba :)
Hi Anu. Excited for you as always. Thanks to you that I get introduced to so many new authors and new topics! All the best to you and your efforts.

I'm still out of words to respond to this message in the way that it deserves, Amanda! 😭💜
I remember reading Spanish Lessons and enjoying it immensely.
Enjoyed reading as usual. The interview of Elizabeth Lim was fascinating.
Looking forward to reading the latest by India Holton. Cheers.
Dear Anu, I am amazed by the wide range of your reading choices. Very enjoyable as always.
